New recruits complete a structured training academy covering department policies, laws, radio communications, patrol procedures, and more. After graduation, you'll be paired with a Field Training Officer to continue your development.
Can I join specialized divisions?
Yes! After gaining experience as a deputy, you'll have opportunities to apply for specialized divisions such as Air Support, Detective Division, SEB, Traffic Enforcement, and more.
